Adult & University Group Tours Groups investigate artists and themes in current exhibitions through guided tours with experienced staff and educators. 90-minute tour: $100 for up to 30 participants
School Tours—Pre-K through 12th Grade Students explore works of art with experienced museum educators through careful looking and discussion. Tours can be tailored to make specific curriculum connections and meet teachers’ needs. 60-minute tour with sketching: $100 for up to 30 students 90-minute tour with art activity: $150 for up to 30 students *Programs free for NYC DOE schools with refundable deposit |
Self-Guided Groups Adult groups are invited to visit the Museum self-guided. Reservations for groups of ten or more participants are required. $50 fee for up to 30 participants
Summer Youth Programs Information about 2013 Summer Youth Programs Bring your camp or youth group to MOBIA this summer for a fun, hands-on exploration of the world of book arts! Students are introduced to traditional book forms, and will also discover the many ways artists working today are inspired by what they read and see in these ancient texts. After exploring interesting works of art on view in the Museum through discussion and activities, campers will create their own book to take home. Workshops are appropriate for Pre-K through 12th grade students and can be tailored to meet the needs and interests of each group. Reservations are required
