Unexamined Art of Tiffany at Museum of Biblical Art

By 1880, Louis C. Tiffany was an established interior designer and manufacturer of stained glass windows and fine objects for the home.  In 1889, he created an ecclesiastical division as America was seeing a boom in new congregations.  Louis C. Tiffany and the Art of Devotion, opening on October 12, 2012 at the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) in New York City, will be the first exhibition to examine Tiffany’s work for America’s congregations, including majestic stained glass windows not seen publicly in decades.

For more information, please see the attached press release and public programming document.
